Harris Ralph Tetford- Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the age of 91 years. He was born in Laurenceton, NL on December 11, 1931 to the late Daisy (nee Humphries) and Joseph Tetford.

Ralph will be remembered as a strong loving loyal man with a quick wit and gentle soul. He dearly loved the great outdoors and from the age of 14 he spent his life cutting wood, logging for his sawmill he was a perfectionist when it came to his lumber. He was also a bus driver, truck driver and mail courier. Working was no burden for him. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Leaving to cherish many wonderful memories, his wife Olive (nee King) married on September 10, 1959. His son Alvin (Pauline) and daughter Dawn Ball; four grandchildren Kay (Pete), Amy (Marc), Matthew (Rebecca) and Michael; three great-grandchildren Zack, Faith and Reid. Ralph will be missed by his siblings, Elsie (Wilfred) Langdon, Sylvia Purchase, Stella (George) Tiller and Reginald (Ruth), nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters: Flossie, Edna, Ruby and Doris; brothers John and Selby.

Visitation will take place at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, on Wednesday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Philadelphia Pentecostal Church in Lewisporte on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 1:00pm with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Lewisporte.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
