Obituary of Harvey William Snow

It is with great sadness the family of Harvey William Snow of Embree announce his passing at the Lewisporte Health Centre on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the age of 71 years. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Harvey was born on Sept 12, 1952 a son of the late Earl and Evelyn Snow of Embree. Harvey enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and used his quad to get his firewood. Also, in his earlier years he served on the Embree Fire Department and played hockey with the Combinations. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Pansy, parents-in-law Augustus and Florence Froude, brother Hewlett and his sister Jeanette. Harvey leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his brothers Allister (Denise), Winston (Betty) Larry, Don (Marilyn) and Richard (Arlena); sisters, Virtue (Tennis) Cora, Darlene (Derrick), Sarah (Roy) and Cindy (Peter), and his sister-in-law Trixie; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at the North Haven Palliative Care Unit in Lewisporte for their kind and compassionate care of our brother and family during his stay. Resting at Families Funeral Home visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. His celebration of life will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel in Lewisporte on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 2PM with interment to follow at the Community Cemetery in Embree. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his memory to the Embree Fire Department.
