Carrie Irene Pond of Lewisporte passed peacefully away at the Lewisporte Health Centre on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the age of 91 years.

Carrie was born on Black Island to the late Ida and Lewis Baker. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gilbert, brother Jim Baker and her sister Violet Baker.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her son Warrick (Doreen); grandchildren Corey (Jolene) and Stephanie (Billy) Baker; one great-grand child Lukas; nephews Ewen (Glennis) Baker, Hubert (Irene) Baker and nieces Gwenda (Don) Snow and Trina (Rodney) Wall along with other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

Funeral service will take on Wednesday, November 15th, at 11:00 a.m. from Families Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Lewisporte.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund in Lewisporte.
