Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Lewisporte Health Centre at the age of 78 years. Golda Ruth Squires was predeceased by her husband Wally, parents Wesley and Amy Price and her sister Edna Martin. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Stephen (Tina) Squires and daughter Tamara (David) Wilson.

She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren; Timothy Squires, Daniel and Alyia Wilson and her siblings, John (Neta) Price, Pat (Gary) Martin, Roma (Leon) Barrett, Alvin (Bonnie) Price and her brother-in-law Earl Martin. As well as her nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will take place at Families Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from St. Matthew’s United Church in Lewisporte at 1pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023 with interment to follow at St. Matthews United Church Cemetery.

Donations may be made in her memory to St. Matthew’s United Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
