It is with profound sadness that we, the family of the late Pleamon Rimmer, announce his peaceful passing at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, Gander, NL at the age of 90 years. Pleamon was born on August 12, 1933 in Little Burnt Bay, the place where he also met and married the love of his life, Sadie Perry, on August 1, 1956. They raised their family there while he spent most of his working life as a logger with Abitibi Price which he enjoyed until his retirement in the early nineties. They later moved to a cottage in Lewisporte and eventually settled in at Kingsway Living, Lewisporte. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was well respected by everyone who knew him. He was known for his very strong work ethic. He enjoyed spending time in the woods cutting firewood, setting a few slips, moose hunting and tending to their vegetable garden. He dearly loved his walks around the boardwalk and enjoyed the many conversations along the way. He built a couple of boats during the offseason and enjoyed it on the water doing many daytrips. He always kept himself busy with little jobs around the house and always eager to help out where needed. He was dearly loved by all his family. Leaving to cherish the many beautiful memories of life lived together, his wife, Sadie of 67 years; children, James (Linda), Trudy (Randy), Dwight (Marsha) & Lyndon (Jennifer); grandchildren, Deanne (Johnny), Terri-Lynn, Rocky (Vanessa), Tim (Megan), Zonita (Barry), Taylor & Georgia; great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Kaden, Kinley, Kitri, Jack & Mick; brother, Stanley; sister, Joyce (William).
