Obituary of Thelma Evangeline Fudge

Thelma Fudge of Comfort Cove entered into the presence of her Lord with her family by her side on Friday, March 29th, 2024 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, at the age of 86 years. She was born in Salt Pond a daughter of the late Amanada and George Watkins. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her sons Robert (Goldie), Gerald (Sandra), Quincy (Rosalyn), Jim (Vickie), Cleophas (Joanne), Mervin (Glenda), Benny (Tracey); son-in-law Raymond Watkins. Daughters: Ruth (Morley) Watkins, Kathy (Morgan) Wells, Alvina (Ken) Curtis, Darlene (Melvin) Burry, Valerie Fudge, Tonya Fudge and Gayla (Craig) Porter. Her precious grandchildren, Sheldon Fudge, Justin Fudge, Ryan Fudge, Peter Fudge, Bobbie Lee Fudge, Evan fudge, CJ Fudge, Mikayla Fudge, Brady Fudge, Hayley Fudge, George Watkins, Marsha Watkins, Sherri Lynn Curtis, Denise Curtis, Christopher Savoury, Alexander Savouryn Jaleesa fudge, Jenay Fudge, Tamara Hollett, Nikita Hollett, Anthony Porter, Jamie Nippard, Morton Ingersol, Ramona Watkins and Roxanne Watkins. She will be remembered by her great grandchildren, Deakon Fudge, Madison Fudge, Kamdin Fudge, Noah Fudge, Summyr Fudge, Mackenzie Moyles, Christopher Hudey, Logan Fudge, Nathan Hillier, Marshall Hillier, Isla Hillier, Kendra Spingle, Konnor Spingle, Kaiden Fudge, Bennett Fudge, Connor Saunders, Teela Hollett, Kelsey Moyles, Andrew Moyles, Bailie Freake, Ciara Freake and Chevy Burry. Thelma will be deeply missed by her brothers Gerald, Lloyd (Lorraine); brother-in-law Len Carroll and sisters-in-law, Beatrice (Solomon Hurley), Louise Fudge and Carolyn Weir; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Bennet Fudge, daughter Leona Watkins; grandson Tyson Fudge; brothers, Peter Watkins, Norman Watkins; sisters, Mae Watkins, Eunice Carroll and sister-in-law Rose Watkins. Resting at Families Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, from 2-5pm. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel in Comfort Cove on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11am with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Newstead. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Fire Brigade in Comfort Cove.
