Obituary of Dorothy P. Stratton

Dorothy Stratton-Passed peacefully away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Lewisporte Health Centre at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her husband Roland; parents Edgar and Bessie Moyles; brothers, Lewis, Albert, Clarence, Hubert, Harvey, Sid, Winston, Stewart, and her sister Grace. Leaving to cherish her memory are her children, Harvey (Verna), Frank (Betty), Linda (Steve), Madelene (Garl), Tony (Edna), Paul (Lorraine), Craig (Ruby), Barry (Kim), Brian (Theresa) and Robert (Lori). Dorothy will be deeply missed by her 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery in Lewisporte. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Society.
