Winston Marshall Obituary

The family of Winston Marshall are heart broken and are deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing on June 8, 2024. Winston was a hard working man who spent his career working as a heavy equipment operator with Bowaters & A.L. Stuckless & Sons. In later years he worked with the Newfoundland Trail Ways as the superintendent, covering all structural jobs of the reconstruction of bridges and pathways to keep the trailway safe and up to date for all recreational users. Winston was a family man he loved his family more then anything in the world.

His wife Ruth was the love of his life and they spent all their time together until her passing on July 31, 2021. Winston was a kind-hearted man, the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back, he would give you his last meal and was the one that would be there immediately if someone was in trouble. He loved hearing stories about his grandchildren and kept up with his voice chats on the Whatsapp. He loved hearing and seeing all of the pictures, videos and chats that were sent his way. He enjoyed keeping up on what was happening in their lives.

Winston, had 3 wonderful daughters. He loved each of them equally and was so happy about their success. He would brag about them all the time and tell everyone how proud he was of their successes. Winston was the big brother of the family and loved his two brothers to pieces, he loved his chats with both of them and always wanted to know how they were doing. Winston will be missed deeply by his 3 daughters Sherry (Jason) Renee (Kevin) and Karla (CJ) and his 4 grandchildren Amber (Steve), Nicholas (Maddy), Codi and Brady and one step-granddaughter Skylar. Two brothers Boyd (Agnes) Vaden (Debbie) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will take place at Riverside Pentecostal Church in Glenwood/Appleton on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 1PM with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his memory to support the family at this difficult time.
