Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Audrey Hoddinott of Embree was born in Twillingate on March 14, 1944, she was a daughter of the late: Johnathon and Wavey Stuckey. Leaving to cherish her memory, her loving husband Cyril and their only son Brian; daughter-in-law Amanda; and her precious granddaughter Grace whom she adored. Audrey will be dearly missed by her sister Marina (Lawrence) Penney; brother-in-law Burt (Winne) Hoddinott; sisters-in-law Melinda (Carl) Janes and Geraldine Hoddinott. She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Diane Budden and her neighbor her cousin Louise (Roy) Gillett and other relatives and friends. Audrey's presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters-in-law Marie and Madeline Ledrew; brothers-in-law Clarence Hoddinott, Austin LeDrew; her niece Goldie Reid and parents-in-law George and Abigail Hoddinott. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Sunday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Lewisporte on Monday, June 24th, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery in Embree. Flowers are accepted and donations may be made in Audrey's memory to the Community Cemetery Fund in Embree.
