Obituary of Garland Miles

Passed Peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, on Tuesday July 19, 2016, age 92 years. He was the son of the late Peter and Janet Miles, predeceased by his first wife: Violet, sister Myrtle, and brother Howard. Left to cherish his memory his wife Dorothy; and family; Rowena Horning, Maxine (Donald) Brown, Marlene Leyte, Larry (Michelle Hill) Leyte, Grace (Glen) McCulloch, Mervin (Wendy) Leyte; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Families Funeral Home 9 Forward in Lewisporte, visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place at the Pentecostal Assembly in Hillgrade on Saturday at 11am. interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery.
