On July 15, 2024 Ross passed away peacefully at his home in Lewisporte. He was predeceased by his parents Lester and Ruth (Wood) Gettel.

Leaving to remember him are his wife June and daughter Jennifer (David) Adams; Jennifer’s mother Irene (Jeff) Locke; grandson Colton Brokenshire and granddaughter Evy Rudolph; his best buddy Aden (love you); brother Wally (Grechen) Weir; sister Leslie (Lee), (Mike) McNevin; cousins Bonnie Pritchett and Kathleen Hogan and other relatives and friends in Canada and the USA.

The family would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ambarak and Coralee at the Family Medical Clinic and the EMTS of Lewisporte and Botwood.

Thank you too Dennis Manuel, Eleanor Manuel, Melvin Snow, Angela and Robbie Burt, Levieta French, Bev Day, Donna and Gary House.

Special thanks to his caregivers Gayle Foss, Stacey Foss, Sheila Bennett and not forgetting his “sweetie pie” Christine. Your kindness shown to Ross will never be forgotten.

In Keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
