Obituary of Clarence Sheppard

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at North Haven Manor on December 6th at the age of 91 years. Clarence was born on Indian Islands on April 23,1933. He was a son of the late Leonard and Jane Sheppard. He moved to Embree in 1958 and on June 28,1961 he married the love of his life Verna Farr and together they were blessed with 6 children, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was a hardworking man, and his sole purpose was to provide for his family. He worked at construction for all his adult life and built the family home on the weekends. He enjoyed the outdoors and going on camping trips with his family and later spent all his spare time at the family cabin where he enjoyed time with family and friends.
He lived a life of dedication to the Lord and attended church faithfully.
He will be forever missed by his loving family his children: Marlene (Lloyd) Nippard, Sharon (Sterling) Mews, Kathy (Brian) Wells, Tena (Leon) Wells, Todd and Krista (Dean) Hillier.
grandchildren; Jenny (Greg), Michael (Sarah) Cody (Robin), Kyle (Keisha), Nicole (Chris), Tyrone (Tiffany), Tammy (Matt) and Chloe.
As well as his great grandchildren: Isabella, Brooklynn, Makaila, Gavin, Kayley, Sophia, Gage, Cade, Haley, Logan, Bryson, Nolan, Raquia and Raquel. He is also lovingly remembered by his brother Bram (Betty), and sister-in-law Bride, brother-in-law Winston and sister-in-law Mabel.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Verna and his sister Emily (Don) brother Garf, brother-in-law Heber; sisters -in-law Ruth (Ford) and Stella. Resting at Families Funeral Home with visitation on December 8th, 2024, from 2pm-4pm and 7pm – 9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Glad Tidings Tabernacle on Monday, December 9th at 11 am with interment to follow at the community cemetery in Embree.
Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
