Rex Anstey Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a well loved husband and father. Rex Anstey passed peacefully away at the Lional Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Rex was well known for his love for hunting, fishing and he loved gathering with family to enjoy meals around the table.


Leaving to cherish the wonderful memories of time spend together are his wife Josie, son Corrie and daughter-in-law Leona.


Rex will be deeply missed by his sisters, Maisie (Mark), Helen (Sam), Sheila (Barry), Verna (Glen), Nancy (Nick); brothers, Ted (Lisa), Fred (Marion), Terry (Arlene) and Trevor (Peg); and sister-in-law Dianne.


As well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, Milton (Glenda), Dawson (Peggy), Glen (Loretta), Angus (Margo), Newman, David, Una (Wayne), Colleen (Terry), Kent (Carol-Ann), Dale (Rodney), Nola (Sheldon), Connie, Clive, Ken and Marilee. Rex will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.


Predeceased by parents Maxwell and Selena; his sister Rose and brother Junior.

Service and Interment will remain private to the family.


As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Lional Kelland Hospice-Grand Falls-Windsor.
