Mrs. Zita Moreau, of Norris Arm, Newfoundland passed peacefully away with her devoted daughter, Theresa Rose and one of her loving grand-daughters, Melanie Fudge, by her side on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland in her 87th year. She was predeceased by her first husband Leonard Paul and her first son, Donald as well as her second husband, Ronald Moreau; parents, John and Bridget Pearce and many of her siblings. Leaving to cherish many memories are her children, Joan (Gerald) Archer, Theresa (David) Rose, late Donald (Marion) Rosemary Skiffington (James McFarlane) Michael (late Margaret), Brendan Paul, Colleen Irving, Christine Paul (Sacha David) Bryan Paul, Sharron (Paul) Paul-Davis and Sean (Laurie-Ann). She will be lovingly remembered by her 21 grandchildren; Cory (Natalie) Archer, Jennifer (Joe) Bougie, Melanie (Sandy) Fudge, Darlene (Jamie) Chafe, Andrew Paul, Jeannette Paul, Amanda (Fred) Arsenault, Terry (Sharon) Charette, Michael Paul, Leonard Skiffington (Colleen Wells), Gary Skiffington (Ciara Humbar), Allison (Sean) Heyn, Mike (Karly Masters), Dylan (Selena West), Christine (Micah) Clements, Kylie Irving, Tristan David, (Emma Nickolaus), Mathew David (Kristy Budge), Shayne Brule, Mitchell Davis (Destiny Evans) & Megan Davis (Tyler Trovarello) and 21 great-grandchildren and with a new arrival in January 2025. She also leaves behind her sisters Rose (Reginald) Robinson, Theresa (late Donnie) Buder, Bernice Saunders, Linda (late Anthony) Robinson and her brothers Cyril Pearce, (Judy Thompson), Leonard Ryan and Michael Ryan. She was a loving Aunt to many & special Godmother to Heidi Pearce. Dear friend of Edith Auger of Sault Ste. Marie. Thank you to the Lionel Kelland Hospice team that took such loving, professional and gentle care of Mom in her time with you. A most gracious thank you to our loving and selfless sister, Theresa and her husband, David Rose, for taking such loving care of our Mom/Grandmother these past 8+ years! Your love and commitment to giving her the best of you will never be forgotten by any of us. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be held in Sault Ste. Marie ,ON. Donations may be made in her memory to the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland.
