Tom Whiteway passed away on Sunday August 16, 2015 at the Lewisporte Health Centre at the age of 72. He was born February 11, 1943 in Lewisporte to the late Hugh and Blanche Whiteway. He was predeceased by his daughter in law Brenda Whiteway. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Betty; sons: Tom Jr., Ken (Angela); five precious Grandchildren Adam, Joseph, Rebecca, Haley and Cera; mother in law Grace Ball; sisters: Eileen (Harold) Gauthier, Rosalind (Bill) Jacobs; brothers; Randy (Carolyn), Hugh (Le), Harvey (Doris), and Perry (Frances); also a large circle of brothers and sisters in law, Nieces, Nephews and cousins and friends. Resting at families Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, funeral service will take place on Wednesday August 19th, 2015 at 2pm from the Salvation Army Church in Lewisporte, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
