It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Kerwin (Kirk) Manuel announce his passing at his residence in Lewisporte, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 15, 2016 after a couragous battle with cancer. Kirk age 63 years was predeceased by his parents: Douglas and Elsie Manuel and Nephew Kent Manuel. Leaving to mourn with fond and cherished memories: daughters, Kelly Manuel Drover, Kerri Lee Manuel MacDonald (Christopher); five precious grandchildren: Mackenzie, Delaney, and Jackson Drover, Kristina Manuel, and Joshua MacDonald; brothers: Kevin (Beatrice), Ken (Patricia), Keith (Louise), Kerry (Patsy), and Kraig; Sisters: Kay (Llewellyn) Norman, Karen Manuel, and Katherine Manuel; Nephews: Todd (Lisa) Manuel, Frazer (Heather) Manuel, Karl (Beverly) Manuel, Chris (Lynette) Butt; Nieces: Kathleen Colbourne Manuel, Kristine (Larry) Hibbs, Kim (Les) Butler, Kendra (Vaughan) Fifield, Carla (Paul) Evans, Jennifer (Kenny) Mullett, Michael (Rhonda) Luscombe and Krista (Dean) Moyles; many other relatives and countless friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Family will be receiving visitors on Saturday December 17, from 7-9pm at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive Lewisporte, Funeral service will be rescheduled at a later date due to weather conditions for family travel. Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Newfoundland and Labrador Division (Home of Daffodil Place)to make a donation online, www.cancer.ca/nl
