Obituary of Garfield Rose

Garfield Rose- passed peacefully away on January 3, 2017 at the Central Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor surrounded by his loving family. Leaving to cherish his memory: wife Marie; children: Maxine (Rex) Hanlon, David (Theresa), Dwight (Maxine), Brian (Sarah), Boris (Kim), Valerie (Len) Matthews, Jody (Lisa), and Tina (Bill) Clarke; grandchildren: Jason, Lorie-lee, Melanie, Darlene, Crystal, Kevin, Stephen, Cynthia, Jessica, Nicole, Alyssa, Brooke, Amy, April, Ryan, Laurissa, and Erica; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers: Fred and Cliff Rose; and sister Dorcas Penney. He was predeceased by: parents William and Elizabeth; and siblings: Harry Rose, Muriel Sooley, Maggie Saunders, Melvin Rose, and Bessie May Rose. Visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Norris Arm on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made in Garfield’s memory to the South and Central Health Foundation.
