Ronald Hayward Bursey, aged 81 years, passed peacefully away on Friday, September, 4th at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s. He was predeceased by: parents Harold and Barbara Bursey; sons Neil and Ian; granddaughter Ashley; brothers Ralph and Stanley; and sisters Violet, Ivy, Elsie, Edith, and Rowena. Leaving to treasure his memory: loving wife Elsie Bursey (nee Freake); sons: Randolph (Deborah), Darren (Betty), and Darryl (Tammy); daughters: Wanda (Lorne), Cynthia (Dale), and Sherry (Ross); grandchildren: Russell, Samantha, Kristen, Christina, Victoria, Bettina, Kendra, Drew, Hunter, Dylan, Kenya, Courtney, and R.J. ; great-grandchildren: Ian, Rebecca-Lyn, Lucas, Sam, Sophia, Lilly, Peyton, and Liam; sisters: Lillian and Deanna; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Wings Point Pentecostal Tabernacle, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday at 2pm, with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Cemetery Fund.
