Obituary of Mildred S. Coles

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Coles announce her passing on Friday June 2, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with many loving memories, her children: Millicent (Brian) Burton, Sheila Fudge, Dan, Ruth (Dawson) Taylor, Ed (Maxine) Coles, Marina (Ernie) Smith, Michelle (Dennis) Freake, and Rob (Sherri); 15 precious grandchildren: Cindy, Lee, Eddie, Jessica, Danny, Ashley, Grant, Anthony, Holly, Jeremy, Nathan, Jenna, Nicholas, Bethany and Benjamin; 10 great-grandchildren: Carter, Amber, Chloe, Liam, Lily, Katelyn, Chael, Keean, Zoey, and Gracie; brothers: Sterling (Irma) Freake, and Ralph (Kay) Freake; sister,Donna (John) Meade, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William, son Dean, and her parents: Eli and Daisy Freake; sisters, Millicent and Pearl, and son in law Ross Fudge. Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive on Monday June 5, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2pm from the Philadelphia Tabernacle in Lewisporte, with Pastor Brian Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Stanhope. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are accepted or donations in her memory can be made to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund in Stanhope.
