Obituary of Ivy E. Hancock

Ivy Hancock passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Lewisporte Health Centre, on Thursday June 22, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with many loving memories, her husband Joseph; Three sons: Ches (Donna), Charles, and Junior; 5 grandchildren: Durwin, Norine, Jeffrey, Jordon, and Casey; 5 great-grandchildren: Jay, Piper, Jasmin, Xavier, and Noah; sisters-in-law, Edna Ford and Ivy Gidge; other nieces and nephews relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brothers: Jack, Carl and Ambrose Ford; sisters: Ruby Leyte, Gertie Eveleigh, Mildred Torraville, and Eliza Payne. Resting at Families Funeral Home 9 Forward Drive in Lewisporte, visitation will take place on Friday from 7-9pm and Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2pm from the Pentecostal Church in Stanhope; interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Stanhope. Flowers accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund in Stanhope.
