Obituary of James Leyte

Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor. James Leyte age 87 years was predeceased by his first wife Emma(nee Burry)and his second wife Ellen (nee Morgan). Left to cherish his memory are his children; Wavey(Wilson)Hurley, Phenie (Woodrow)Oxford, Allister(June)Leyte, Mary(Hayward)Wheeler, Selena(Gary)Leyte, Peggy(Ron)Leyte, John(Tina)Leyte, Meta Pataky, Elsie(Wayne)Sampson, Roxanna(Joe)Leyte, Glenda (Paul) Wheeler, Peter(Donalda)Leyte, Arther(Valerie)Leyte, Barry(Christine)Leyte, and Brenda(John) Leyte. Also 44 grandchildren and 74 Great grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Corps in Birchy Bay on Thursday and Friday, August 29th and 30th, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 31st, 2013 at 2pm at the Salvation Army Corps, Birchy Bay with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Birchy Bay. Donations may be made in James's memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
