Denise M. Batt, RN (nee Penney)
With broken hearts, the family of Denise Batt announce her passing on October 12, 2013, aged 49 years.
Denise is predeceased by her mother, Irene Penney, and mother-in-law, June Batt.
Left to celebrate her life with happy memories is the love of her life and best friend, husband Glenn; her sons Nicholas and Lucas, who were the pride and joy and the centre of her world; her father, Leslie Penney; sister, Sherry (Rick); brother, Terry (Angie); father-in-law, Harold (Marianne) Batt.;
brother-in-law, Gary( Kelly); sister-in-law, Lisa (Chris); nieces and nephews who were blessed with such a fun loving Aunt; Christopher, Kiersten, Rebecca, Jonah, Lily, Reese, and Gregory (Sabrina), as well as numerous friends and acquaintances.
Denise spread joy and laughter everywhere she went, and in turn she was loved by all who knew her. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter could light up any room. We have all been inspired by her daily motto, “get up, dress up, and show up!” Her selflessness and concern for others has endeared her to all.
