Dorothy Atkinson passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte NL.

Dorothy, aged 78 years was predeceased by her daughter, Katherine Philpott. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Tom, her children; Donna (Dennis) Blake, Gary (Bonnie) Atkinson, Sandra (Gary) Moore, Ted(Beryl) Atkinson, and son in law Junior, her grandchildren; Renee, Adraine, Steven, Julie, Christine, Brandon, Deanna, Jeremy, Jamie, and Mason, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends.

Resting at Families First Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive, Lewisporte on Saturday, November 30, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Glad Tidings Tabernacle, Embree on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow from the Embree Community Cemetery.
