My prayers are with all the family during your time of sorrow. Remember that God is your refuge and strength a very present help in the time of trouble.(Psalm 46:1) Winnie was a very special friend to me, I can reflect on the many conversations that we had over the years. We were both in the ministry together and loved serving the Lord. Just remember that Mom, grandma is just gone before us for we will all meet again soon. Praying for you all during this time.

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Winnie. She was a kind person and a true Christian. I have one special memory that illustrates her kindness and compassion. When I lived in Botwood, I had surgery in Grand Falls. I was alone at the hospital. When I awoke from the procedure, Aunt Winnie was there to make sure I had some company. Her smiling face and sincere concern boosted my spirits. I will never forget what a good person she was.

To all family members. We are saddened to hear of Sister Winnie's passing. She was a true "vessel of honor for God". We have many fond memories of her from past years and when she lived in Botwood. We have never forgotten and always appreciated her support and comfort when she came with Pastor Loder and Pastor & Mrs. Ralph Leyte to our house in Stephenville in 1967 to inform us that Ada's father, Pastor F.G. Bursey, "had gone to be with the Lord". She stayed with Ada all night and accompanied us to Central Nfld. in the morning. Our prayers are with you. Take comfort in the Hope that we will soon join them in worship & honor around God's Throne:

May God comfort you by the outpouring of his love surrounding you. So sorry to hear of Mother's passing and although I can't be there today , my thoughts are with of of you. I'm going to miss our visits where we would sit and have a tea with some homemade toast prepared by a very special lady whom everyone loved. I have always thought of her as a second mother and know that she thought of me as one of her own, as she did with a lot of people that came into her life . You will be missed dearly but not forgotten as I hold a lot of special memories of you . Love & prayers , Flo, Will and Family

Glennis, Joan, and Family. Today we do not mourn as those who have no hope. Your precious mother left the earthly house that she lived in for over ninety-four years and was promoted to her heavenly home. We have many fond memories of her that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. One can "Only Imagine" the joy and peace that she experienced on the afternoon of Dec. 3, 2014. Her desire was to go home. May the words of this poen encourage your hearts today. FINALLY HOME!!! "Think of stepping on shore and finding it home! Of taking hold of a hand and finding it God's! Of breathing a new air and finding it celestial air! Of feeling invigorated and finding it immortality! Of passing from storm and stress to a perfect calm! Of waking and finding it home!"

Once in a while you come across a person that has substantial influence in your life and you're forever changed. Winnie has definitely been that person for me and a lot of people who were blessed to have known her. Winnie was so full of the love of God that I believe she has left a lasting legacy for generations to come. Today, I morn with you as you lay to rest the pillar of your family, but I also rejoice and take comfort that God has called her home after a race run strong to the finish line. Glennis, Joan and Families; It is with both sadness and joy that we received the news that you mom had left this life to her eternal reward. I'm sure it was an interesting moment last Wednesday when she peacefully entered that heavenly realm, the moment being the culmination of what she spent her entire life prearing for and promoting to others. Knowing how she enjoyed people, we can only imagine that she is still conecting and engaging with all of those around her. While a victory has been achieved, we truly understand the void that has been left in your lives. We consider it a priviledge to have been able to cross paths with her over the last number of years and will always be remniscent of the influence she left behind. Continuing to hold you in our thoughts and prayers.........Paul & Lisa Lush
