Obituary of Winnifred Tucker-Philpott

Winnifred Tucker-Philpott (Retired Pastor) passed peacefully away in Brampton, Ontario surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 aged 94 years. She was the daughter of the late Roland and Alice Morey; predeceased by her husband, Pastor Harvey Tucker of 33 years, her second husband Maxwell Philpott, and grandson, Gregory Sheppard. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Joan (Quincy) Sheppard, and Glennis (Edward) Barnes. Leaving to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren Nadine, Darryl, Charlotte, Jonathan, Natalie, and 11 precious great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Joan Ellsworth, and many nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9pm, and the Glad Tidings Pentecostal Tabernacle in Embree on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 8th, 2014 at 2pm with interment to follow at the community cemetery in Embree. Donations may be made in her memory to the Stella’s House.
