I think this is the hardest goodbye we as a family have to face. Each and everyone one of us have many fond memories of Uncle Gilbert. He touched so many lives in a very positive matter, and is going to be missed around our table. Thank you Uncle Gilbert for knowing how to liven up a room without even knowing you where doing it. Thank you for being the Uncle that everybody loved and thank you for the lasting memories that truly will never be forgotten. You are going to be missed. Rest easy you young dummy.

I had the pleasure of visiting Gilbert in Sept. We reminisced about old days,and the family horse Jack. Cold Sat morning and Gilbert would harness Jack for a trip into back country to retrieve his firewood that he had spent all week cutting. Being Sat. he would take Danny and me with hm. Getting to his wood pile,,he would set a fire for us,,give us some grub,,,with which we would feed the Jays,,he would load the sleds,,put us on top of the pile,,and he would walk beside Jack al the way back. I loved those Saturday,s Thank you Gilbert,,,God bless you,,,rest forever Ted@8
