Gilbert Gerald Budgell –Passed peacefully away at the Lewisporte Health Center on Sunday October 22, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers: Dan (Rose), and Charles Budgell; sisters: Doreen Curtis, Bishop’s Falls, Kay (Neil) Thompson, Botwood; sister-in-law Frances Budgell, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.  Predeceased by his parents: Eli and Mary Budgell; Sister, Ivy Pilgrim, brother, Scott, sister-in-law, Ethel Budgell; brother-in-law Harold Curtis and nephew Rodney, and nieces Viola and Vera.

  Resting at Families Funeral Home 9 Forward Drive on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel in Lewisporte on Tuesday October 24, at 2 pm with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Lower Cemetery in Lewisporte.

  Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
