Obituary of Edward James Blake

Passed peacefully away with his family by his side, on Wednesday September 5, 2018.  Edward James Blake of Baytona at the age of 82 years was predeceased by his parents: John and Jemima; Son, Lloyd Blake and infant baby Blake, his brother Silas; niece, Melvina Blake; nephew, Austin Hurley; and great nephew Philip Blake.

Leaving to cherish his memory: loving wife Mary; children: Eugene (Vera); Karen (Leslie) Wells, Marina Blake, Perry (Bonnie) Blake, and daughter-in-law Sharon Blake; grandchildren: Mark (Melissa) Blake, Matthew Blake, Johnny Blake, Kayla (Lance) Hawkins, Micheal (Jennifer) Blake, Travis (Shannon ) Blake, Trevor (Cassandra) Wells, Holly (Andy) Blake, and Ryan (Casey) Wells; great-grandchildren: Bailey Hawkins, Tyrone Blake, Sofia Blake, Damian Blake, Grace Blake, Joseph Blke- Cooper; sisters: Jane Quinlan, Mary Quinlan, Minnie (Art) Quinlan, Eva (Bax) Hurley, and Vera Quinlan; brother, Frank (Phoebe) Blake; very special friends: Arthur and Eileen Card and Pastor Eugene and Dorothy Rowe, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Calvary Pentecostal Temple in Baytona with visitation to take place on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday Sept 8, from the Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle in Birchy Bay at 2pm.

  Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Baytona.  Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made in his memory to the Calvary Pentecostal Building Fund in Baytona.
