Obituary of Laura Payne

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laura Payne announce her passing on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at James Paton Memorial hospital, at the age of 66 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and cherished memories: her husband, Tom; of 48 years, son, Dean; daughter, Elizabeth (Paul) Hoddinott; one precious granddaughter, Bailey; sisters: Elizabeth Clarke, Ruby Cannings, Theresa Eveleigh, Greta (Calvin Watkins) Best, Ruth (Ivan) Day, Judy (Boyde) Walsh, brothers: Jim (Gladys) Nippard, Herman (Ruby) Nippard, Baxter (Val) Nippard, Dave (Clarissa) Nippard, Many nieces and nephews and a large number of other relatives and friends.

 Laura was predeceased by her parents: James and Bessie Nippard, sister, May, brothers, Derek and Bruce Nippard.

Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 forward Drive, Lewisporte with visitation on Friday from 7-9pm and Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

Funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 2pm from Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Embree, with Pastor Dwayne Mews officiating. Interment to follow at the Community Cemetery in Embree.
