Obituary of Junior Brooklyn Hill

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Junior Hill announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander at the age of 68 years. Predeceased by his parents, Brooklyn and Grace Hill; in-laws, Clyde and Vera Barrett; sister-in-law Eunice Oberndorfinger; and brother-in-law, Edwin Barrett.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Viola; children, Jason (Jojo) Hill, Jackie (Melvin) Shearing; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Justin), Ian, Zachary, Alexander and Grace. Two precious great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Ethan. Junior will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Ross (Norma), Melvin (Lorraine), Whyman (Viola), Willie, Glen (Kim) Wade; sisters, Velma (William) Ball, Wavy (Gary) Hodder, Judy (Murton) Heath, Glenda (Geoffrey) Ryan; brothers-in-law, Gerry Oberndorfinger  and Cyril (Alice) Barrett; sisters-in-law, Elsie Barrett and Cynthia (Will) Loveman; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Resting at Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Embree, with visitation on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 23rd at 2pm, with interment to follow at the Community Cemetery in Embree.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Daffodil place.

Arrangements are in the care of Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte.
