Danny, Dean, Della, Derrick, Dale and Danita...thinking of you all at this very sad time. Uncle Bax was certainly one of a kind, so gentle and kind and always so witty and funny! I have so many great memories of him over the years especially on Christmas Day with the candlelight suppers that I’m sure him and dad never ever enjoyed. You guys were all so blessed to have such a special man raise you and I’m sure you have so many amazing memories as well! Keep those memories close and I’m sure they’ll bring a smile to your face. My heart is broken at the fact that I have lost my best friend. I know that you are no longer in pain, but I will forever miss the best man that has ever entered my life. You believed in me and were so proud of even my smallest accomplishments. You even helped me achieve milestones when you got me to walk across the kitchen floor with a bribe of a cheesy when I was home on vacation. You have given me some of the best memories a granddaughter could ask for, from going out in boat, to going the beach to collect shells, which are still in your shed today, to the endless amounts of love you have shown me throughout the 18 years I have known you. I can never thank you enough for being such an important part of my life and I will forever cherish the memories of you. Love always, Chloe.

One of my greatest memories of my pop is when I wouldn't eat my dinner nan and mom would say no dessert but my pop would always save half of his for me and give it to me when no one was watching .
