Obituary of John R. Tetford

Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the Lewisporte Health Centre. Mr. John R. Tetford of Laurenceton, at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by his wife Rowena and his second wife Lorna Marshall-Tetford; siblings, Ruby Dawe, Selby Tetford and Flossie Baker. Leaving to cherish his memory his children, David (Lorraine) Tetford, Pauline (Cyril) Boyd, Wayne (Pat) Tetford, Donna (Bill) Diamond, Pat (Bob) Stuckless, John Jr. (Sue) Tetford, Ed (Elaine) Tetford, Marion (Tony) Boone, Bruce (Pam) Tetford and Tina (Rob) Wagner; stepchildren, Winston (Ruth) Marshall, Boyd (Agnes) Marshall and Vaden (Debbie) Marshall; 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; siblings, Edna Baker, Ralph (Olive) Tetford, Doris (Marshall) Porter, Sylvia Purchase, Elsie (Wilfred) Langdon, Reginald (Ruth) Tetford, Stella (George) Tiller; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and management of Pleasantview Manor, for the care and love that was shown to their dad. Resting at Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Laurenceton on Sunday from 4-6pm (Following Government Regulations and Guidelines). Funeral service will take place on Monday, April 26,2021 at 2pm by invitation only. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be in John’s memory to the Marilyn Curtis Ministries in Manila, Philippines. Arrangements have been placed in the care of Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte.
