My condolences to Aunt Jean's family. She was a remarkable lady in many ways but the qualities that I remember the most were kindness, generosity and from where her strength came - her unshakable and complete devotion to God. My Mom (her sister Marie) always admired how she managed to raise all of you after Uncle Otto died and I remember how her kitchen always smelled like something good was baking. I know you will miss her forever and I hope the memories of her comfort you in the days ahead.

To the Hill Family,
I was so saddened to hear of Aunt Jean’s passing. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out, with a kind soul. I really admired her so much in how she raised her children on her own and always had room in her heart to give more love. She has helped raised me and has certainly influenced my life and who i am today. She has been a true friend to mom for years and that i am deeply grateful. I always knew when Aunt Jean was around there would be the smell of homemade bread and the sound of her infectious laugh that always put a smile on my face. I share in your grief today but remember all the good times and that will ease the pain of missing her. Cherish those memories.

The Hill Family. So sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. Although I had not seen her in recent years I have so many fond memories of her, especially my visits to Campbellton when I was very young. Loved going to her house as it was always such a welcoming (and busy) place. I always admired her for the wonderful job she did raising her family, especially after Otto’s passing. To all of Jean's family, our condolences to you at your time of sorrow. I remember when we were at her house after Uncle Gar's funeral, and how I was a little apprehensive about going in there with Wally. What foolishness. She opened her house up to him and us, as good as to anyone else, she made sure he was well fed and made feel welcome. I have thought about that many times, which I appreciated beyond words. She was a kind soul.
