Obituary of Jean M. Hill

Jean Hill-passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Lewisporte Health Centre at the age of 89. Jean was born in Musgrave Harbour a daughter of the late Bennett and Alvia Hiller. Predeceased by her husband Otto, siblings, Garfield (Joy), Marie (Heber) Hart, and Harvey (Phoebe). Jean was a loving devoted mother to her children, Excie (Howard) Wall, Nancy (Wallace) Rideout, Karen (Dan) Organ, Kevin (Bev) Hill, Bev (David) Bishop, Pam (Jerry) Cooper and Jeff (Jackie) Hill; loving grandmother to her 16 precious grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Marion Hale, Betty Peyton, Varrick (Georgina), along with special nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Our mom was a very strong independent woman and following our father’s passing she raised us on her own. This couldn’t have been an easy task during those times. She was a loving woman of deep faith. Jean dearly loved her family and spending time with them, cooking and baking which she enjoyed immensely and gave freely to others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Resting at Families Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Full Gospel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Campbellton on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2pm. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Campbellton. Flowers are accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund in Campbellton.
