I have only learned of Pastor Hardy's passing recently. My prayers and heartfelt condolence to his family. I will always remember his booming yet humble prayers as I entered the church foyer. Setting a beautiful and reverent atmosphere for the evening worship! One of the old school pastors with old school ideals that we all miss. R.I.P. Pastor until that wonderful day!

We were so blessed to meet your dad more than 20 years ago. He was always so pleasant. We were sure of one thing…he was guaranteed to say something to make us laugh every time we would be together. His witty personality was magnetic.
Today we share in your loss, but we also long with anticipation for Heaven, where there will be no more pain or separation.
Thanks for reminding us Andrew, that Heaven is an amazing place!

We have such great memories of Pastor Perry and appreciate him so very much. We had the absolute honour of having your dad and mom as members of our congregation at Lewisporte. Yet, in a very real way, your dad was a pastor to us. He loved us, encouraged us, and cheered us on enthusiastically. What a blessing to have known him.
The depth of his relationship with Jesus was evident every time he prayed, testified, preached, and wept at the altar. I'm reminded of the words of Psalm 126, "Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest."
We are thanking God for such a faithful man and remembering you in our prayers.

My deepest condolences to all the Perry Family. Pastor Perry became one of my dearest friends after I moved to Lewisporte in 2012. He was a loving Husband, Father and faithful Servant of the Lord. He was known for his unique sense of humor. He was also a great Pastor and Leader in the PAONL. He is now in the Presence of his Lord and there is "laid up for him a Crown of Righteousness" which will be presented to him by his Lord.

Your dad, Pastor Perry, has left us with a great legacy of faith and servanthood for the kingdom of God. He was a great influence and example to us as young pastors. One of the greatest memories I have is a time when he was a speaker at one of our special services. He stayed at our place and it was a weekend of many funny stories and laughter. However, one of the greatest memories of Pastor Hardy Perry is his spirit of humility as his preaching was always with a tear and a heart of humbleness. While living and growing up, in my teen years, in Happy Valley, GooseBay, Labrador your dad was our pastor. It was while under his ministry that He baptized me in water & I became well grounded in my faith. He was a very humble and gentle man who is loved and highly respected by myself and countless others who had the privilege of being under his ministry. Even though I'm now an adult in my 60's, I have never forgotten, and never will, the impact his ministry had on my life. I am so blessed to have had him as my pastor.

We are so sorry to hear of Pastor Perry’s passing. It honestly has been a privilege to have known him. We sure enjoy fellowship with him when he was in Springdale and we were in Beachside (1978-1982). There is no doubt about it, he was gifted with caring for people, always ready to encourage and strengthen others. He was never stuck for a story, a joke or something to fit the situation. He was such a humble man, just a beautiful spirit about him.
You all have such wonderful memories of him. May the Lord comfort you and bless you with peace and strength. The Blessed Hope is the next greatest event. What a hope!
