It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laun Brushett on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the age of 63.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Kathy, his two children Candi (Roly) King and Adam (Renee) Brushett; one precious grandson Levi; his mother Audrey, sister Charlene (Dean) Ings and brother Jody (Carmalice).

Lovingly remembered by his brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews as well as many more cherished family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Joshua Brushett.

He started his journey in ministry 23 years ago. Laun and Kathy pastored in the following assemblies: Grand Bank. Glenwood, Twillingate, Robert’s Arm and Brown’s Arm.

He was known for his love of the great outdoors, he enjoyed walking in the woods, hunting, fishing, and taking a ride on his quad or skidoo. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00AM from Philidelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle in Lewisporte.

Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Lewisporte. Donations may be made in his memory to the Autism Society, Newfoundland and Labrador.
