It is with heavy broken hearts that we lay to rest our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Albert Samuel Kinden passed away peacefully at The James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 26, 2024 with his family by his side.

Albert was predeceased by his wife Phyllis; his parents, Wesley and Blanche Kinden; great-grandchild Shayla; brothers Bert and Garfield; parents-in-law Sarah-May and Harold Payne.

Leaving to cherish his memory, his special friend Judith Marshall; his children, Netta (Dollard), Sandra (Ed), Kathleen (Nick), Austin, Danny (Valarie), Cheryl (Dave), Perry, Darren (Rosanna), Cindy (Peter) and Melissa (Tyson); grandchildren, Julie, Ian, Justin, Michael, Jonathan, Jessica, Brooke, Marcus, Samuel, Renee, Daniel, Jenna, Elliot, Ashton Leigh, Sarah-May, Phoenix, Joshua, Natasha, Caleb, Joshua, Joshua D., Brandon, Blaine, Helen, Joanne and Jamie.

Great-grandchildren: Thomas, Mason, Myles, Kayleigh, Clara, James, Charlie, Layla, Finley, Shawn, Luke, Parker, Kyle, Jake, Blake, Brooklyn, Brady, and Benjamin. Albert will be missed by his brothers Bax (Lila), Melvin (Marilyn) and Eric (Joan) ,Doyle (Linda) and his sister Juanita .

along with his many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends, with special mention of Natalia Pinheiro.

Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive, in Lewisporte with visitation on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 29th, from St. Matthew’s United Church in Lewisporte at 11am.

Interment to follow at the United Cemetery in Lewisporte. Donations may be made in his memory to the Autism Society.
