To the Hewitt Family, Mom and I were sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He made Mom and I feel welcome even though we were the other side of the family. I remember one Christmas gathering with Mom and I, Karrie, Jeff and the kids and Jack. I will always remember his smile and sparkling eyes. He had such a kind spirit about him. This world has lost another beautiful soul. I will cherish all the wonderful memories living next door...too many to count. Their home was a second home for us and always an open door. I don't remember a time when I
wasn't greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome.
We may have all moved away as life took us down our own paths but growing up next door to Jack, Joyce and the Hewitt clan as instilled what life long friendships and love between neighbors really means. Sending love and hugs. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love you Jack Xo

Sorry to hear of Jack's passing. We have many memories of him during our pastoral ministry in Baytona (Gayside) in the early seventies. Jack was a devoted husband and father who loved life and especially the great outdoors. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless

Mary, Eddie, & Family,
Mom and I are deeply saddened and share in your grief of the passing of this very special Man!
We knew Jack as having a very strong work ethic, all of his life. His unwavering kindness & humanity
towards others, was unparallel. He had a fierce love for his family and we know, he will live on, through
his precious Children, endorsing his kindness and help to others. He truly missed, the Love of his life.
Jack & Joyce, complemented each other like no other couple. Mom and I felt truly blessed, having the
opportunity to visit Jack in Hospital, last December. When he was told, whom we were, he smiled, and
we got to see his "Dancing Eyes" one more time. Jack, you were truly an Angel, here on Earth.
Fly high and dance with the Love of your life, in Heaven. Our Dearest Love, thoughts, & prayers are
with you all!

To all the Hewitt family,
So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I sure have many great memories of him and your mom visiting us on Sunday afternoons in the summer months. He was always so much fun to be around. Always had a hug for me every time I ever saw him.
One of the sweetest men I ever knew. Always a great laugh whenever Jack was around. So many precious memories.
I’m sure he will be greatly missed but hold on to all the memories each of you have of your Dad and find peace and comfort in knowing he is now with your Mom again rejoicing in Heaven together.
Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to all my cousins. Jerry, Jackie, Janice, Jeffrey, Joy, Judy and families.

Mary, Eddie and Jack’s children:
We are so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We have real fond memories of him when we lived in Baytona (1974-1978). Jack was such an easy going, hard working, and one who loved a good laugh. I had a few moose hunting trips with him and his brother in law Ned. But the best story is when we were trying to dig a well, not sure if it was for the parsonage or Jack’s place, but down by the side of the road. It was pug, and Jack jumped down into the hole to shovel it. He sunk down to the top of his logan. He tried to free himself. Stuck for life for sure. But, the boys, Ned and Eddie and bunch others, maybe Scott Kinden too, reached down and pulled him loose. Only to discover he lost his boot, stuck in the mud. He had such a laugh, he made us all laugh with him.
Cherish all your good memories.

Very sad to hear of Jacks death.
I only met Jack a few times when he and Joyce visited my sister , Jessie who was married to Jacks brother Bill.
Both Bill and Jack were wonderful humans, full of wit and fun, virtually the salt of the earth , an honour too little bestowed on lovable people that we met and knew on this long walk thorough life’s times.
God bless you Jack.
I imagine that you and Bill are having a few cuffers now about wonderful times in your lives lived.
Sincere condolences to the extended Freake Family
