It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Irene Pelley of Little Burnt Bay at the age of 73 years. Irene passed away on January 6, 2025 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Emily Norris and her brothers Cecil and James Norris.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her husband Ralph; four children; Colin, Scott (Shelley) Boyde (Tammy) and Gail (Richard) Hoddinott.

She will be lovingly remembered by her seven precious grandchildren; Travis, Jordan, Donovan, Joshua, Riley, Cameron and Cody and six great-grandchildren; Aurora, Ethen, Lily, Kylie, Deacon and Sadie.

Irene will be deeply missed by her sisters Nellie Brown, Leah Pritchett, Geraldine (Eric) Rogers, Greta (Edward) Easton and brother Maurice Norris. As well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held for her at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
