Roland Stratton Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the North Haven Manor in Lewisporte. Roland Stratton, aged 83 years, was predeceased by his parents, Emma and Henry, his brothers, Sidney and William.


Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy. Children; Harvey (Verna), Frank (Betty), Linda (Steve), Madeline (Garl), Tony (Edna), Paul (Loraine), Craig (Ruby), Barry (Kim), Brian (Theresa), Robert (Lori), also 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. His brother, Alex (Bertha) and sister, Mary, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.


To honor Roland’s wishes, visitation and funeral service will remain private to the family.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roland’s Memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
